The illusion of freedom, the reality of oppression

Regina focuses above all on revisiting the idea of women equality in the past, present and future. It sheds light on the transformation of the perception of women both as a mortal being and a socially constructed concept.

We have been oppressed. We have been raped. We have been beaten.
We have been slaughtered.
The fortress of man is crumbling and the retribution of the goddesses shall be swift.

Regina Exhibition was held on the 24th of August 2019 at DeBru in Lisbon with the collaboration of performer Mai Weisz and musician Douglas Norton.
